                       The Church of Greater Love truly has been blessed.  As the Bible says in Jeremiah 3:15,
                                            "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart,
                                           which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."
 
                       When the Church of Greater Love was organized, July 5, 2002, Rev. Darryl M. Moore    
                        was the unanimous choice to serve as Pastor.  At that he was best known country-wide  
                        for hs vocal styling and his passionate gospel music ministry.  Two songs defined him,
                       "My Soul has  been Anchored in the Lord," and "Jesus is the Center of My Joy."
 
                       Pastor Moore has devoted himself to fulfilling the vision God gave him for the Church of
                       Greater Love.  His message is simple:
 
                                U     "Whatever you do in word or deed, do it to the glory of God and in the love of
                                    Christ Jesus"

                        Since becoming Pastor of the Church of Greater Love, Pastor Moore has fervently service the
                        Lord both at the Church and within the community.  He taught and has served as Dean in the
                        Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Association (MMBA) of Los Angeles and Vicinity and it's
                        Congress of Chistian Education.  He is currently the President of the Southern California District
                        Bible Association Congress of Christian Education.

Rev. John A. Moore, Sr. Pastor
 

 

Jesus had His forerunner, John.  As the Bible says in John 1:6-7, 
"There was a man sent from God,
whose name was John. 
The same came for a witness,
to bear witness of the Light,
that all men through him might believe."
 
Sr. Pastor John Moore is The Church of Greater Love's minsterial forerunner.  As The Church Father, he provides exceptional knowledge and wisdome to our congregation.  While he always makes himself available to pray for anyone in need, he consistently prays for everyone at The Church of Greater Love.  He is one of the most dynamic Bible instructors in Southern California.  He says, "I am just glad to see what God is doing with Greater Love."
 
Our Church is blessed, and we are humbled ot serve with our greater forerunner and father, Rev. John A. Moore.

Rev. Rayvon Moore, Youth Minister
 

 
In 1 Timothy 4:12 Paul encourages his young minister to,
       "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers
            in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
 
Rev. Rayvon Moore preached his first sermon at The Church of Greater Love on August 15, 2004, at the age of twelve.  This dynamic and "seasoned" young man has a calling, message and ministry that is uniquely his own.  He serves at Greater Love as Sunday School Superintendent and the Minister of Music, all while attending Beverly Hills High School.  When speaking of himself, he says, he is definitley, "on one for the Lord."
 
Rev. Rayvon exemplifies the word of 1 Timothy 4:12,
in our Church, in his High School, throughout the community and wherever he happens to be.  He has preached his message to God's children of all ages throughout Los Angeles County.
